Pink Slip and Pre Purchase Inspection in Sydney
A Pink slip (e-Safety Checks) inspection report verifies that your car is safe and roadworthy. Most cars more than 5 years old will require a pink slip before registration and renewal of rego in NSW. Your rego renewal papers will state whether you need a pink slip or not. A regular pink slip inspection consists of the following areas of your car inspected thoroughly by an authorized pink slip inspector/ mechanic:
- Engine condition and functioning
- Exhaust system
- Seatbelts
- Lights
- Brakes and brake fluid
- Fluid containers
- Vehicle exterior
- Tyres
At Extra Care Autos, we check and confirm that all of the aforementioned aspects of your car are functioning properly, therefore issue a pink slip as we find your vehicle ‘roadworthy’.
Once your car passes the eSafety check, Our mechanics electronically sends the safety check report to the RTA no later than 24 hours. If the vehicle fails, we will issue a ‘repairs needed report’ for your car, and will help you to fix the car to be safe and roadworthy again.
